Ghanaian afro beats and high-life singer Dennis Nana Dwamena, known as KiDi, has personally reacted to rumours that he was down with a stroke.
For the first time since February 20, the Lynx signee took to Twitter to inform his 1.4 million followers the rumours are untrue.
Rumours erupted that he was down with a stroke when he cancelled his Golden Boy North America tour which was scheduled to begin on March 1 and end on March 19.
He attributed the cancellation to ill health.
The rumours were immediately debunked by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah.
“KiDi hasn’t had a stroke. Ignore the rumours and the clickbait,” he tweeted.
That however did not stop the speculations.
On Friday, April 14, KiDi hijacked his Twitter and Facebook accounts to personally discredit the rumour.
“Unfortunately, a few bad actors took this as an opportunity to spread false stories that got a lot of you very concerned. While I do not want to give it any more attention, I want to categorically address that those stories were false.”
He also used the opportunity to show appreciation to his family, friends and fans for the encouraging messages they shared with him.
“You all made me feel incredibly loved in this difficult period and I cant appreciate you enough.”
