Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School, otherwise known as Legon PRESEC on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, won the 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) title.

Following a keen contest, they beat Prempeh College and Adisadel College (Adisco).

At the end of the contest, Legon PRESEC garnered 50 Prempeh College got 41 and Adisco had 32 points respectively.

The knockout stage of this year’s edition took place on the campus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

The finalists from three schools had two contestants each who showed their intellectual prowess to win the trophy.

Presec who has won the trophy 6 times together with Prempeh college defeated their fierce rivals to make it 7th.

The students and supporters erupted with cheers and singing of the school’s anthem to the delight of the students present. Presence is 7- time record holders from 1995, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2020, and 2022 of the national maths and science quiz respectively

The final was attended by the teachers and participants from participating schools, representatives from Ghana Education Service, conference heads of assisted secondary schools, and other dignitaries
