The executive director of the Institute of Energy Security Nana Amoase the VIl has said Ghana is only exposing its dirt to the outside world.
His comment was in connection with the current fuel hikes in the country which have resulted in transport increment.
The president in his remarks during the address to the state of the economy said the country is trying its utmost best to get affordable fuel from Abu Dhabi.
As a result, the government has sent an entourage to the United Arab Emirates, to negotiate cheap fuel which has attracted several comments from a section of Ghanaians.
Nana Amoasi told Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye that Ghana is blessed with the volume of oil produced in Ghana which includes Tweneboa, Enyenra, and Ntome, and sees no need for government, sending a delegation to negotiate for a cheaper one while it's could have revamped the existing ones in the country.
“We have a vast quantity of oil in our country which we can refine for various purposes but leaving these rich minerals behind for outside is something above the imagination of every Ghanaian.
On the Tema oil refinery (TOR), he said we need to feed the factory to function well so that the oil can be affordable for Ghanaians to consume.
Nana Amoase VII shared this with Omanhene on the Sompa Tv morning show on Friday, November 4th, 2022.
