VIOLENCE AT NDC CAPE COAST CONGRESS” WHY ARE YOU IMPLEMENTING THE VIGILANTISM LAWS? – DR ISAAC BRAKO ASKS

A former head of the political science department of the University of Education, Winneba, Dr.Isaac Brako has indicated that Ghanaian leadership was extremely good at the formulation of laws while it was always hesitant at applying them when necessary.

He indicated several laws have been in place for a very long time but authorities and it is presumed there are no laws in Ghana t the moment.

Dr. Isaac Brako was speaking to SOMPA NEWS in connection with the NDC last weekend’s National Women and Youth Organizer elections at cape coast where the Ghana Police declared about 15 people wanted for disturbances during the elections.

He has therefore urged the leadership not to hesitate to apply the laws, especially now that the laws on Vigilantism are passed.
