As rightfully said by the former High Commissioner to the UK, Victor Emmanuel Smith on Sompa Tv yesterday, the former president, John Dramani Mahama has met with the National Democratic Congress Communications Officer and Youth Organizer, Sammy Genfi and Opare Addo respectively.
The meeting according to a post shared on the official Facebook page of the former president, has brought to an end the impasse between the two.
His post reads:
I've had meetings with our Youth Organizer and Communications Officer and agreed with them that the current exchanges must stop.
It brings our great party no benefit and only serves as a distraction from the hardship caused by the reckless management of our economy.
Let's keep our eyes on the prize for the ‘Ghana we want’.
Earlier.
Mr. Smith in an interview with Sompa Tv said the exchange of words in public between the communications officer and Youth Organizer has received the leadership's attention and possible resolutions have been planned.
The former Diplomat, Mr. Victor Smith also called on the National Youth Organizer of the party and National communications officer of the party to cease fire as the National Executive The Council of the Party will be meeting them today.
“Admittedly, what is going on is not right, especially yesterday, the council of elders is meeting to address the issue between the two and call them together, the former president is also doing his part to bring peace between the two,” he said.
