Most students mislead parents into paying higher for hostels

The KNUST Hostels Association accused some students of the various public universities of misleading their parents into paying for expensive and luxurious accommodation for their wards.

Rev Dr. Akwasi Owusu - Bi, the president of the association in an interview with Sompa News said most students lie to their parents about less expensive accommodation on campuses which leads them into paying huge sums of money for accommodation.

He said most of these students do so because of their luxuries and comfort at the expense of the poor parents.
