The Municipal Chief Executive of Suame Municipal Assembly, Hon Maxwell Ofosu Biakey has called for the immediate arrest of Suame NDC youth organizer, Razak Koampa Avoliya, known as mosquito for urging the NDC supporters to attack the NPP in the constituency in the runup to the 2024 general elections.
Hon Maxwell Ofosu said beyond politics, the assembly is a united front and could not understand why the youth organizer will make such comments that tend to destroy the peace and tranquility in the municipal.
He told Omanhene Adu Boakye on Sompa TV, that the comment by the youth organizer can create tension within the constituency because his comments can enthrall the youth and create a fiery temperament.
“The comment made by the boy is archaic because modern-day politics is not about violence, insults, and attacks, we no longer live in the old ways of politics” you are regarded as uncivilized if this is how you go about politics,” he said.
He was worried about the outcome of the comments and how it tends to destroy the relationship with the youth in the constituency.
“you want to hit your brother because of politics, you want to kill because of politics” I believe he couldn't sleep yesterday, I know he will have a second thoughts about his comments, here at Suame, we are family, everyone knows the other, we cross paths almost every day, both the NDC and the NPP” he added
According to Mr. Boakye, the worrying aspect of the comment by the youth organizer is the fact that he said the NDC leadership is in support of his comment.
“He is a constituency youth organizer and has access to the regional and national executives and looking at the courage he spoke with clearly should give room for further interrogations.
