The Suame District Police Commander Supt Asiama has made a passionate appeal to the government and benevolent people to come to their aid and support them with vehicles to boost patrol checks in the Suame municipality.

According to him, the Suame police command has only one vehicle for patrol which is alarming.

Supt Asiama disclosed that there are no street lights at the suame roundabout which is so dangerous and the municipal should provide street bulbs before robbers get the situation worse.

“I have written several petitions to the suame municipal and Bantama Sub Metro but to no avail.

He reiterated that darkness is the hub of armed robbers and if not well addressed can increase the rate of robbery cases.

He made this statement on Sompa FM's "Me Man Nti" in a conversation with Nana Kwabena Kesse.

Supt Asiama assured the good people of Suame to have hope in the police because they will do their possible best to install peace and put strict measures to boost good security in suame and the environment.
