Nana Clark, Micheal Darko, and Jonathan Obeng are facing trial for the death of Georgina Asor Botchway
The Cape Coast District Court 2 presided over by His Worship Eric Oheneba Antwi Boaisiako who replaces on leave judge for the case, Her Worship Bernice Mensima Ackon on Tuesday 14th February 2023 sat over the case of aspired-to-be nurse Georgina Asor Botchway who allegedly got murdered by one Christopher Ekow Clark Quansah together with his accomplices Micheal Darko and Jonathan Obeng.
The gruesome killing of Asor Botchway which occurred on the 9th of September, 2022 at Mankessim in the Mfantseman Municipality of the Central Region on Tuesday saw all three accused persons put before the court.
Prosecutor to the case, DSP Daniel Gadzo during the trial told the court he has duly carried out all his investigations into the matter awaiting Attorney General's advice.
The first accused in the case, Nana Clark proceedings got denied speaking in an attempt to utter a word in court.
The case has been adjourned to 28th February 2023 pending the Attorney General's remarks.
Meanwhile, the accused persons are yet to be granted the chance to speak before the court having appeared before it seven times.
