The Agona Swedru Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) Division are on a manhunt for 32-year-old Kobina Appiah for allegedly defiling and impregnating his two nieces.

According to Afua Yeboah, mother of the victims, the suspect who is a bamboo seller lured and got her daughters aged 14 and 16 years drunk on two different occasions and later had sex with both of them.

Speaking to Sompa TV/FM reporter Eric Annan over the abominable act, Nana Owiro XIV, Chief of Agona Abodom and Benkumhene of Agona Nyarkrom Traditional Area promised to do everything within his power to assist the police in arresting the suspect from his hiding place.

He also guaranteed that the protection of the children will be their priority as they are currently going through emotional trauma.

The mother of the victims at the time of the incident was admitted to the hospital having undergone an operation through childbirth.

The suspect, identified as a blood brother to the victim's mother from some parents is said to be a resident of Agona Nyarkrom as his wife and children live at Agona Abodom where his atrocious deed took place.

The family of the victim's mother upon getting previewed to the abominable act persuaded the nursing mother to bring the case home for family settlement.

The suspect is still yet to be found by the police from his hideout.
