Over 300 NDC Branch Executive members of the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese (AAK) constituency in the Central Region have come out to vent their anger on the party's Minority Leader in Parliament, Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson for abusing his recently bestowed position.
According to the peeved delegates, Hon. Ato Forson is earnestly using his position to forcefully impose on them to allow Felix Ofosu Kwakye to go unopposed in the constituency's kin parliamentary contest with Prof. Nana Ama Brown Klutse.
They alleged, the Ajumako Enyan Essiam MP and other NDC party members in a sighted closed-door meeting picture, saw them discuss how to sideline Prof. Nana Ama Klutse for Felix Ofosu Kwakye to go unopposed, as though the former president is in support of the act having used his office for the meeting.
Speaking to Sompa TV/FM reporter Eric Annan in a press briefing, the aggrieved executive members who had Mr. Herbert Selassie as their convenor recounted they can boldly say, Hon. Ato Forson is collapsing the NDC party in Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese over his decision to have Ofosu Kwakye go unopposed in the constituency's parliamentary election.
"We lost the 2020 parliamentary seat to NPP all because of Hon. Ato Forson. He contributed 80% to our loss. We're warning him this time around to stay away, else we'll be compelled to beat him should he step foot here to campaign for Ofosu Kwakye," they warned.
