An unidentified man believed to be in his thirties has been lynched for attempting to steal a VIP bus at Abenkyi in Kumasi.

Speaking to the Assembly Member of Dadiesoaba Electoral Area, Hon Akwasi Agyemang, he disclosed that the incident occurred on Wednesday around 4 am. The man who failed in his attempt had to jump off the bus when he was being chased and was later beaten to death.

The bus with the registration number GE 2384-10 then veered off the road to hit a black sports car which was displayed for sale before it made a stop.

The Asokwa Police was hinted and they later came to take the body to the morgue, no relative of the deceased has shown up since yesterday, he added.
