The Central Regional Acting Chief Imam, Idriss Nashit Tijani following the recent gruesome murder of the young soldier, Sherif Imoro at Ashaiman has called on fellow Muslims within the country not to resort to instant justice as a solution in situations like robbery.
According to him, the act as inscribed in the Holy Quran is forbidden in Islam.
Imam Tijani told Sompa News reporter Eric Annan at the three-day 29th Annual National Ramadan Conference held in Cape Coast.
He said instances like that of the young military man when encountered should be reported to the appropriate quarters for proper examination of the matter rather than one taking the law into his hands.
The Imam on the ongoing riot at Bawku called for instant peace to reign as he lamented the unending mayhem has left the once fan-to-live community upside-down with many dying jobs.
