A 29-year-old man, Atiogbe Ayi has been butchered by notorious land guards with sticks and shovels at Awutu Papase in Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region and taken away his Five thousand Ghana cedis.

According to the victim, the land guards who attacked him numbered up to four gallant men.

The incident happened on Monday, March 13, 2023, in the evening.

Speaking in an interview with Sompa News reporter Eric Annan, the victim said he was on the way to visit his land which has a building structure but unfortunately had the notorious land guards attacked and butchered him.

He added that the notorious land guards after butchering him made away with his five thousand Ghana cedis.

The victim was rushed to Agona Swedru government hospital and later referred to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the report says, the suspect is on a police wanted list for a series of such attacks on innocent civilians.

The victim has therefore called on the IGP and Awutu Ofaakor District Police Command to effect an arrest on the villains and put them before the court of law as no arrest has been made so far.
