Delegation from Togo led by Atitse Jerry Yawo, Inspector General of the Treasury were accompanied by the Country Manager, Faisal W. Kellou and Director of Operations, Girish Vkey for Planet One paid a courtesy call on Director General, Ghana TVET Service Mawusi Nudekor Awity at the Ghana TVET Service Headquarters.
The rational of their visit was for the Delegation from Togo to come and observe the works done by the Planet one group here in Ghana under the Ghana TVET Service retooling and revamping.
The team also paid a visit to selected TVET institutions to familiarize themselves with the State of the art equipment supplied and installed inline with the Project.
The Deputy Director General, Operations Mr. David Prah on behalf of the Director General, Mawusi Nudekor Awity welcomed the team and gave them a brief overview of Ghana TVET Service and its transformational Policies and Programs.
Mr. Prah seized the opportunity to encourage the Delegation from Togo to emulate Ghana and invest in Technical and Vocational Education because it equips students with industry relevant skills to become job creators, thus reduces unemployment and migration.
Present at the meeting were Mrs. Adjoa Owusua Yankson Ag. Director Administration, Mr. Samuel Debrah Ag. Director for Training Assessment and Quality Assurance, Mr. David Mensah, Senior Technical Advisor, Mrs. Stella Ntow Ag. Director Finance and Dr. Eric Kofi Adzroe Ag. Director, Infrastructure.
