A 35 year old carpenter has met his untimely death after being washed away by strong waves at the Saltpond beach in the Mfantseman Municipality in the Central Region.
The deceased, Nana Kofi is said to have gone swimming with his friends at the sea when the unfortunate incident occurred on Monday, April 12 around 3:30pm.
A report by Sompa News reporter Eric Annan reveals the deceased doesn't know how to swim hence was unable to surmount the strong waves which hit him in the process of swimming and was swept away.
