Reports Reaching Sompa News from Kumasi indicate that a young woman known as Maa Adwoa, a resident of Adum was shot five times by her alleged boyfriend misunderstanding on Thursday night at the forecourt of Dufie Towers, Adum.

The lady in her twenties died after being shot by her former boyfriend on Thursday night, according to reports.

An eyewitness said the lady identified as Mabena Akoto was shot six times by a man alleged to be her ex-boyfriend.

According to the reports, the lady broke up with the suspect after she was accused of cheating on him.

Efforts to reunite with the lady proved futile causing him to kill the woman, reports have it.
Recounting the incident, an eyewitness said, “A female stranger came to tell her (the deceased) someone was after  her (Mabena).

She (the deceased) was later seen having a conversation with the guy in the course of which the guy took a gun from the stranger who came to call her and shot her six times.”

Unfortunately, the young lady has passed on, while the Police are on a manhunt for the boy who bolted after jumping into a tricycle (Aboboyaa)

She was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The police in the Ashanti region are currently on a manhunt for the suspect.

She left behind a child, it is confirmed.
