Mad Justina Owusu-Banahene, the Bono Regional Minister has called on parents to invest resources into the education of their children.

While calling on parents to collaborate with teachers to improve academic performance of the school children, she asked them to limit their investments on frivolous activities.

Mad Owusu-Banahene made the call when she inaugurated KG block for the D/A Basic School at Yabraso in the Tain District of the Bono Region.

Action Aid Ghana, a non-profit organization constructed the block which had washrooms for boys and girls, recreational grounds and potable drinking water.

Mad Owusu-Banahene said parents would be ungrateful to their children if they shirk their responsibility towards their education, saying quality education remained the surest legacy parents could bequeath their children.
