Nana Kwesi Mensah lll, Chief of Kwaprow a suburb of Cape Coast in the Central Region has presented his boyhood school, Kwaprow M/A Basic School with a brand new ultramodern Canon Image Runner Photocopier.
The machine which comes with a multi-functioning property, costing the chief GH¢45,000 is in to aid the school in its daily printing activities, particularly during examination hours.
The chief who has it at heart to see students of Kwaprow M/A Basic School graduate from Junior High in flying colours, saw the need to provide the school the photocopier to aid in its academic endeavours.
Nana Kwesi Mensah in handing over the machine to the school, advised students to take their academics seriously for a brighter tomorrow.
He consequently disclosed to bare all maintenance cost to the machine should it require repairs and added to provide the school an expert repairer to see to it the machine is properly fixed should in case it develop a fault.
Mr. Frederick Owusu, Headmaster for the school's Primary who on behalf of both the JHS and Primary School received the photocopy machine, thanked Nana Kwesi Mensah and his elders for remembering Kwaprow M/A Basic School with his benevolent act.
The Headmaster promised the school will protect the presented machine with its live to last long enough for kids yet unborn to even grow to have a feel of it.
Richlove Dorna, Girl's Prefect for Kwaprow M/A JHS in appreciation noted the photocopier will save the school a lot of stress as students most often gets sent with bicycle for print outs during examination which usually affects the performance of such pupils.
She then pounced on the opportunity to appeal to philanthropists for computers to aid students in their ICT practicals as the ones at the school's disposal have all developed fault hence making student's adaptability to ICT lessons a tough hurdle to climb.
