The European Union, under the European Union Counter Terrorism Public Spaces Project has collaborated with the Ministry of National Security to train officers from the various Security and intelligence agencies in Counter Terrorism in Ghana and Spain.

15 Prison Officers benefited from the programme by participating in course like counter terrorism risk analysis , newtralization of a sudden attack, tactical patrols and tactical response, medical rescue training.

Selected Prison Officers on Thursday, 23rd June, 2023 participated in an exercise held at the Accra Sports Stadium to test the Level of preparedness of the various agencies in the Country.

The Officers displayed skills in arm drill and combat maneuvers to the delight of invited dignitaries from Spain, Uk, Senegal, Kenya and Ghana.
