Chief of Saltpond Akyemfo in the Mfantseman Municipality in the Central Region along with his Guantuahemaa and market Queen Mothers after eyebrows raised to have their Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Ike Lord Ennu sacked from the assembly have smoked peace pipe to have calm restored to the constituency.
This follows a close door meeting held on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the Mfantseman Municipal Assembly at Saltpond.
The meeting which stood for close to four hours, witnessed revered personalities in the constituency like Nana Okese Esandor IX, the Paramount Chief of Nkusukum Traditional Area whose paramountcy presides over most part of the Mfantseman Municipality including Saltpond, as the meeting equally saw the MCE, Chiefs of Saltpond Akyemfo as well as its market Queen Mothers.
It will be recall that Nana Gyan Ankwanda Vll, Chief of Saltpond Akyemfo together with his Guantuahemaa, Nana Ama Takyiwaa II called on the president for the sacking of MCE, Hon. Ike Lord Ennu from Mfantseman Constituency over his unpleasant attitude showcased towards the area's chieftaincy after market Queen Mothers of Akyemfo had threatened a naked demonstration against the MCE over his purported decision to have government's plan to construct a new market centre at the area be taken to Mankessim.

Ennu axed from the assembly as she ignorantly said earlier on, having remarked that the MCE in their meeting assured them to cut sod for the construction of their anticipated market centre latest by the year.
