Residents of Kwaduagya in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese (AAK) Constituency in the Central Region have invoked curses on perpetrators believed to have had a hand in the demolishing of their ongoing palace structure.
The peeved residents who woke up to the vandalizing of their constructing palace building, called on the spirits of their river gods and ancestors with a bottle of schnapp and three white eggs to have everyone with a hand in the act severely dealt with.
Kwaduagya, which appears a farming community in sequence to the damaging of its ongoing palace project has remain underdeveloped following a chieftaincy and land uproar which has stood for over forty (40) years now.
Natives of the community on Thursday, July 6, 2023 clad in red headscarf to vent their grievance over the occurrence which took place a day before.
Nana Ama Enyimaa I, Queen Mother of the community who doubles as the Kwamankese Amankrado Hemaa after unleashing her anger on the culprits who she identified to have come along with an excavator to carry out the act, appealed to the state's president, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo to step into the matter for calm to be restored at the area.
Residents of the community in their address sounded a note of caution to the constituency's Member of Parliament, Hon. Elvis Morris Donkoh together with the police should they side with the opposition half who they cited to have lost all legal tussles in the community's chieftaincy unrest having heeded deaf ear to their periodic complains leveled before them.
