An alleged witch bird assigned to carry out evil has strangely turned into a young lady believed to be in her early twenty's after falling off the roof of an uncompleted building at Gomoa Mampong in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region of Ghana.

A report by Sompa News Eric Annan depicts, the alleged witch bird at the dawn of Monday July 17, 2023 around 1:00am, fell off the roof of the identified building where prayers were been offered by one Prophetess Mary Esther of the Deeper Church International.

According to sources, the alleged witch who confessed after persistent interrogation to have come from New Winneba, said to have been offered GH¢50 to kill one Brother Kwesi at the area but failed to operate due to the prayers of the prophetess.

Dennis Ofori, an eyewitness to the incident described the victim contracted to be killed by the alleged witch to have been suffering from a strange attack on the head which usually manifest itself at dawn, hence engaged the prophetess for prayers at the house which led to the unfolding of the occurrence, as he narrated that two pied crow birds initially alighted the scene but had the other flee for it's life. 

Chief of Gomoa Mampong, Nana Yaw Obuabeng Tawiah XVI having expressed shock over the situation which has never happened in the history of the community, revealed that rituals will be performed at the said section where the incident took place .

The case has then been reported to the Gomoa Okyereko police command for further interrogation.
