The Local Council of Churches in Elmina in the Central Region in partnership with the National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Right and Family Values and the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council have hit the principal streets of Elmina in a demonstration to sound a note of caution to the government never to come to terms in accepting the practice of homosexuality in the country.
The float which saw various hairdressers and beauticians joining the action, follows extensive deliberations on an anti-LGBTQ bill on the Ghanaian parliament to be passed into law which its introduction to the floor of parliament later this year amassed a triumphant support from all parliamentarians present.
