A female teacher of the Breman Otabilkwaa D/A Basic School in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region has narrowly escape death after snakes and scorpions invaded her deplorable teachers bungalow.
A report filed by Sompa News Eric Annan unravels, five snakes and scorpions have within one week found their way into the teacher's apartment over the school's dilapidated teachers quarters.
This has made teachers in the school threatened to stop attending lessons if nothing concrete is done on their teachers quarters which bad state has paved way for dangerous animals to frequently invade their privacy.
Speaking to residents of the area, they lamented, the poor state of the teachers bungalow has made most newly posted teachers to the school applied for transfer.
According to them, most Kindergarten pupil's have dropped out of school due to the bad nature of the school building itself.
Parents in sharing their plight over the situation, expressed fear that the school structure may one day collapse and kill their wards.
They, however, pleads on government to provide them with a better teachers quarters coupled with a modern classroom block.
