WomanRaising 5000, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) has offered entrepreneurial workshop for 125 women in the Central Region at the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) Hall in Cape Coast to have them impacted with the knowledge on how to sustain their businesses.
The organization which seeks to support 5000 women in the country to own their businesses through its 'Women's Economic Impact Project' is currently on a maiden tour to offer training to women across the country.
Madam Pamela Abbey, the Project Manager for WomanRaising 5000 having expressed delight over turnout to the program, reaffirm the organization's position to support 5000 women in the country be a boss of their own in fields like trade, hairdressing, fashion designing among others, as she appealed with government agencies to partner the organization actualize its goal.
Head of Business Development Service for Development Bank Ghana which offers financial support to the project, Madam Anita Solomon together with other facilitators and trainees remarked to have learnt a lot from the program and pleaded for such to be held annually with an increase number of trainees.
