A baby girl believed to be three-months old has been abandoned in a bush by her mother at Gomoa Akramang in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region.

Information gathered by Sompa News Eric Annan indicates, the baby was dumped at a building site with just a pampers on and clad with white cloth.

According to some site workers who found the baby said, they had closed from work preparing out of the place only to be approached by some ladies to disclose to them of the abandoned baby.

A site worker remarked that the ladies who got scared upon seeing the baby, run to them to go for the child who was placed on the table they use for bending steels at the site, hence went to pick up the girl child.

The issue has been reported to the police with the baby handed over to the social welfare department of Gomoa East District as the mother is yet to be found.
