The Chief of Kwaprow, a suburb of Cape Coast in the Central Region, Nana Kwesi Mensah lll has questioned the decision of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to send soldiers to Niger in respect of the country's ongoing coup d'état.
According to him, it's needless risking the lives of soldiers to Niger, having had the country's leadership earlier caution such decision by an association or sovereign nation to send troops to aid in their fight to win back the state from its military regime.
Nana Kwesi Mensah made this statement at his community's customary rite performed to feed the stool gods of the land dubbed "Eguadoto."
He added that most African countries current state of suffering, particularly Ghana, boils down to their neglect of customs and tradition.
Tufohen of Kwaprow, Nana Amuah ll also chanced on the opportunity to appeal to politicians of the land to liaise with chiefs in the country by granting them the free will to go about their duties of enforcing the adherence of Ghana's customs and tradition to well nurture the youth.
