A two-weeks-old baby boy has been found dead after his uncompassionate mother dumped him at the Gomoa Aboso refuse site in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region.

According to eyewitness report, the baby was deposited in a disguised manner as a refuse by his yet to be identified mother.

Baby when discovered was wrapped in a white bedsheet with a black polythene bag and placed in a carton box.

Some eyewitnesses speaking to Sompa TV/FM's Eric Annan reigned curses on the unknown mother perceived to have carried out the deed for bringing shame to the area.

They added that the baby was found dead at the refuse dump upon their arrival.

Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Isaac Gyesi Korsah expressed, the police has intervened in the matter with investigation launched in search of the unanimous mother having had the deceased baby buried.

He then chanced on the opportunity and advised the youth to desist from such barbaric act.
