The family of deceased level 300 ICT student of the University of Education Winneba (UEW) in the Effutu Municipality of the Central Region has come out strongly to demand justice over the demise of their beloved, Rita Anane who disseminated report on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 suggested to have committed suicide at Winneba.

According to the deceased's family, the widely circulated report of their daughter to have committed suicide appears a fabricated falsehood which can never be accepted by them.

Christopher Yaw Abisah, Brother to the deceased in affirmation to the family's stance over the report of his sister's death, remarked to be no signs pointing to the fact that Rita Anane actually committed suicide as claimed, over the fact that his sister's body depicts no such thing.

He indicated to Sompa News Eric Annan that the knot tied with the sponge on a ceiling fan which is claimed to be that which his sister used in committing the suicide isn't the type which can hold one to death.

He stressed that the family will use all available means to seek justice for his sister, even if it implies they do so spiritually, as the family poses as one which is spiritually inclined and believes that the soul of their departed member will speak up.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital morgue as investigation into the issue has been launched by the police.
