Agrico Hub has unveiled a new hub space at Techiman in the Bono East region. The initiative forms part of NEIP Hub Acceleration Program under the Ghana Economic Transformation Program.
The Hub identifies, nurtures and equips new clients and businesses with training, loans and integral resources to better explore opportunities to drive growth and profitability. C.E.O of Agrico Hub, Mr. George Antwi Boasiako briefed Sompa 90.7 FM's reporters about the reason behind expanding their facilities. He indicated that the visionary youth need a series of transformational trainings to help them build and sustain their dream.
"However, it takes only a conducive atmosphere for effective teaching and learning to take place."
According to him, the management of Agrico Hub has decided to give startup owners the opportunity to learn, network and share ideas in a more welcoming environment and that decision birthed the need to expand their center.
A Startup is typically a newly established business that is in the early stages of development and is characterized by innovation and a focus on sustainable growth.
Mr. George Antwi Boasiako stressed that over the years, AgriCo Hub has learned to comprehend the challenges startup businesses face, hence the need to establish the right mechanisms to support them.
"For the first time as a hub, we have established the StartUp Cooperative Union to give small scale businesses the boost they need to thrive." Mr. George reiterated.
