She made these remarks when she addressed the US-Africa nuclear Energy Summit which entered its second day on Tuesday 31st october, 2023.
"Africa should recognize the importance of highly qualified and sustainable workforce for its future nuclear power programme and project. The continent must actively work on developing an extensive human resource development plan in collaboration with advanced nuclear countries" she said
She continued "Here in Ghana, the Ghana Education Service, the National Commission for Technical Education & Training as well as the Commission for Tertiary Education must initiate efforts geared towards creating spaces within the curriculum for nuclear energy modules, taking inspiration from global academic leaders in nuclear. This can be replicated across the African continent and as an underpinning for our collective progress and advancement"
