Fifteen (15) passengers have sustained various degrees of injury while five (5) individuals including a military officer currently lies in critical condition following the involvement of three (3) cars in an accident at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Municipality in the Central Region.

Fatality of the accident witnessed these cars, fall from the Kasoa flyover only to land on the outstretch roads laid beneath the overpass.

Vehicles involved in the fatal accident includes a Hyundai Salon Car with registration GR 6773-12, a Sprinter Benz Bus with registration number GW 5506-13, and a Borehole Drilling Vehicle.

Eyewitnesses narrated that all three vehicles were from Accra and heading towards the Buduburam direction, but the salon car upon reaching the Kasoa overpass, unfortunately indulged in a wrongful overtaken which resulted into the avoidable accident.

No death has presently been recorded following the accident whose victims are currently on admission at the Kasoa Polyclinic, thanks to eyewitnesses who entertained no delays in transporting the affected persons to the hospital.
