The train of Teraone Media Limited’s annual donation program dubbed Sompa Aky3de3 has kicked off today, December 21, 2023 at its subsidiary TV station in Kumasi. It shall be replicated at all subsidiary stations of the media group which are Sompa 90.7 FM in Nkoranza and Sompa 98.9 FM in Sunyani.
The donation program is an initiative of Teraone Media Ltd and Sompa Foundation, spearheaded by Dr. Blessed Foster and it aims at supporting the widows and the less privileged in the society.
Today at the forecourt of Sompa 93.1 FM in Kumasi, hundreds of widows and physically handicapped persons turned out to enjoy the groceries dashed out by the generous organizers.
Among items donated were bottles of vegetable oil, bags of rice, tomato paste, Mixa5G drinks and other products.
Speaking to some of the widows who benefited from the annual project, they expressed their heartfelt gratitude amidst tears and praised the organizers immensely for their diligence and warm act of service.
“It is a bundle of joy that I have witnessed such an occasion”- one elderly woman jubilated.
Tomorrow, December 22 2023, the Sompa akyɛdeɛ train will land at Sompa 98.9 in Sunyani to continue Teraone’s charity package. And on the 23rd, the team will stop at Sompa 90.7 FM in Nkoranza to conclude the donation project.
