The Constituency Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Muniru Tanko has presented a cheque worth Gh41,971.15 to the people of Koase on behalf of our MP, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah.
He added that, the money forms part of the MP’s share of his Common Fund.

The chief of Koase, Nana Opoku Fosu Gyeabour, who received the cheque on behalf of his people thanked the MP for always coming to their aid whenever they call upon him.
According to the chief, they put the request to the MP, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah to assist them to procure High -voltage cables and other materials to enable them to resolve the intermittent electricity power supply to the community and its environs.

He disclosed that, Koase has been put on the High tension line that supply electricity power to Wenchi which has a lot of load on it and hence wants to change to the Techiman High tension line which can supply regular power to the community.

Commenting on the project, the contractor , Mr. Twumasi Solomon said the money will be used to procure materials such as metal poles, stay complete, cross arm, strain insulators, PC 400 etc. to change the line from Wenchi High Tension line to Techiman High Tension line to ensure regular electricity supply to the community.
