Widows across the country have expressed deep satisfaction and excitement over Teraone Media Ltd and Sompa Foundation's Sompa Akyɛdeɛ charity initiative.
The three- day donation program commenced at Sompa 93.1 FM on December 21st in Kumasi in the Ashanti groin. The observation continued the following day at Sompa 98.9FM in Sunyani, Bono region. It was crowned at the forecourt of Sompa 90.7 FM in Nkoranza in the Bono East region on Saturday, December 23, 2023.
Hundreds of widows at Nkoranza in the Bono East region had a memorable experienced as they received bags of rice, bottles of vegetable oil, large sachets of tomato paste, bottles of Mixa 5g sparkling drinks, among other groceries from Teraone Media Ltd and Sompa Foundation.
In an interaction with the General Manager of Nkoranza’s Sompa 90.7FM, Mr. Baffoe Stephen expressed gratitude to all the donors, the cherished audience of Sompa TV/FM, management and staff of the media station who enhanced the event through their benevolence. He highlighted that the donation initiative is purposed to etch smiles on the faces of vulnerable widows and orphans and to make the yuletide memorable for them.
Mr. Baffoe assured that this is an event that has come to stay.
