Women's Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA) Constituency in the Central Region, Ms. Vivian Sortoh has compelled her women's wing never to lay their guards down in working towards attaining victory for the party in the 2024 general election.
According to her, for John Dramani Mahama the party's flagbearer to be elected again as Ghana's President for Hon. Samuel Atta-Mills to as well retain his position as the Member of Parliament for KEEA begets on the women's wing as that can only be witness through hardwork, unity and effective coexistence among members of the women's wing
The KEEA Women's Organizer made this statement at the constituency's Women's Conference dubbed "Building A Strong Women's Network For Victory 2024."
She stressed that the party's political arch-rival in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) who emerge to be on the losing front in the country's general election slated for December 7,2024, finds it uneasy to hand over power to the NDC and will reluctantly stand its grounds to oppose experiencing such defeat.
As such, the need for the KEEA women's wing to work assiduously to ascertain that the party's victory is actualized in the constituency as witnessed in the last general election.
MP for KEEA, Hon. Samuel Atta-Mills at the conference charged members of the constituency's women's wing to make it a point to win at least ten (10) new members into the party at the end of the year to propel the party's chances of winning the 2024 elections.
Prof. George K.T. Oduro, a former Pro-Vice Chancellor for the University of Cape Coast who doubled as Guest Speaker for the conference on John Mahama's recent comment passed on Ghana's free SHS policy, got the Professor to affirm that decisions like the NPP government's abolishment of repetition and negligence on student's examination malpractices to be dwindling the country's education system which requires prompt redress.
The well attended women's conference saw Women Organizers and their deputies from all 194 Electoral Areas in the constituency grace the occasion with their presence.
