Mechanics at the Sunyani main garage have expressed disgust about the deplorable condition of access roads in the enclave and called on the government to reshape the roads.

According to them, they could no longer contain the dusty and muddy nature of the roads during the dry and wet seasons respectively, hence the need for the government to do something immediately to address their plight.

Some of the apprentices also called on the government to support them to open their shops after completing their training to make skills training attractive to the youth.

According auto mechanics, electrician and welding apprentices, it was extremely difficult for some of them to set up their own shops because of the economic burdens they went through, and thereby discouraging many of the young people to engage in artisanal training.
