Bloody clash is said to emanate between chiefs of Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District in the Central Region and some alleged landguards who appears to be in a tag-of-war over ownership of a piece of land meant for the construction of a Chp Compound at the area.

Information has it that the Gomoa East Assembly recently cut sod for the construction of a Chp Compound on the land battled over, which these landguards went behind chiefs of the area to illegally sell the land to someone else who has started developing it.

These landguards are said to be motivated and sponsored by Nana Adobi Attah Kakra, a self-styled Queen Mother at Fetteh Kakraba.

Odikro of Gomoa Fetteh Kakraba, Nana Essel Amoquandoh in a press briefing noted that over 20 landguards were recently spotted grazing the said land, but assured he will never sit aloof to allow these individuals takeover what rightfully belongs to the community.

Nana Yaw Kudu Manu, Mankrado for the area hinted that they are well prepared to face these notorious landguards boot-for-boot should they dare try to develop that piece of land.

He further called on the Inspector General of Police, the Central East Regional Police Commander and the entire security agency to intervene before the issue turns bloody.
