Vice Chairman for the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) in the Central Region, Frederick Duncan who response to the stage name 'Samaro Africa' has advised artistes in the country not to let their passion for music deprive them from acquiring higher education qualifications.
He established that in as much as one appears a musician, doesn't limit him from furthering his education to a higher status.
The Central Regional MUSIGA Vice Chairman and Samaro Africa Band leader in an exclusive interview with Sompa News Eric Annan made this statement upon his successful graduation from the University of Cape Coast with a Masters in Land Policy and Administration.
He encouraged his fellow musicians to try and pursue higher learning in education to acquire immense knowledge to help revive the country's dwindling music industry, as he bemoaned the fact that a number of musicians in the country seems uneducated.
The artiste who doubles as an entrepreneur, thus the CEO of Duncan Africa Limited, assured to use his acquired knowledge from UCC to help revamp the music industry in the Central Region, as he noted to be a lot of conflicts to be resolved.
He further clarified that not every musician in the country is uneducated as others see Ghanaian artistes to be.
