Mr Paul Twum Barimah Apraku, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dormaa East constituency of the Bono region has advised Ghanaians to ensure personal hygiene and take good care of their health.
He said, "health is wealth" and therefore entreated everybody to ensure regular medical checkups to know their health status.
The MP gave the advise in an interview with Sompa FM in Sunyani after he conducted a free health screening exercise for his constituents at Wamfie, Dormaa East constituency capital.
On election 2024, Mr Apraku expressed the confidence that with the numerous achievements, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would definitely win the next general elections.
He said voting against the NPP would draw back national development, hence the need for the electorates to make informed decisions and retain the government in political power.
"I am confident that the people of Dormaa East would stand by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to win the Presidential election and also retain me as their MP. Dormaa East has been one of their peaceful spots in terms of election. The electorates would decide based on the performance of the candidates and their respective political parties therefore there would be no need for violence", he stressed.
The MP implored the constituents not to fall for the National Democratic Congress but rather vote for the NPP, adding that the the continuation of the NPP in political power would go a long way to benefit the nation than changing them.
