Residents of Breman Twereduah in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa district in the Central Region have made a clarion call to the government and District Chief Executive of the constituency, Hon. Lawrence Adutuah Asiaw to put necessary measures in place to complete the area's abandoned CHPS compound.
According to residents of Breman Twereduah, the CHPS compound lamented over has been neglected for 6-years now.
They resented to have no clinic in the area, which makes it difficult for them to access quality healthcare, as they trek for about 6 miles from Twereduah to Nankese to access the nearest clinic to the vicinity.
Community members revealed that Breman Twereduah's lack of health facility has this year alone aided the death of five (5) residents, amid the fact that the area concurrently suffers deplorable road network.
To this, residents of the community has implored the government to come to their aid, else will have them advise themselves.
Hon. Prince Kumah, Assemblyman for Nankese Electoral Area, relayed that sick patients of the community are often conveyed to the nearby clinic by motorbikes due to the bad nature of their road.
He recounted to have communicated the challenge to the district's Member of Parliament, Hon. Alhassan Kobina Ghansah and the DCE but all to no avail.
