Paramount chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area in the Central Region, Osabarimba Dr. Kwesi Atta ll has expressed disappointment over recent chaos among party members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Cape Coast at the ongoing limited voter's registration.

Speaking at the official launch of the 2024 Oguaa Fetu Afahye, he quizzed in worry, how individuals in Cape Coast have come to understand politics even than politicians in the country to the extent of wounding each other in the name of politicking.

This year's launch of the Oguaa Fetu Afahye which also earmarked the 60th anniversary of the festival themed: "Celebrating The City Of The First: Our People And Our Future", saw the former Electoral Commissioner, Madam Charlotte Osei appointed as chairperson for the festival committee.

Madam Charlotte Osei at the event, advised indigenes of the ancient capital to reset their perception and mindset of Cape Coast been bad.

She charged indigenes to own Cape Coast, hence the need to collectively contribute to build the city, as the development of Cape Coast starts from non other but its indigenes. .
