Headmaster of Agona Nsaba Presbyterian Senior High School in the Agona East District in the Central Region, Rev. Kenneth Osafo Amankwah has reached out to the Nana Addo-led government to come to the aid of his school, for it's going through adjust challenges that needs swift response.
He regrettably admonished without mincing words that the Agona Nsaba Presbyterian Senior High School, year-in and out, prevents 250 students from gaining admission to the school due to the school's accommodation challenges.
Rev. Kenneth Osafo Amankwah made it emphatic that the school will need an additional 18 unit classroom block and a dormitory to aid it admit the number of students required to but are denied admission yearly.
He bemoaned that due to the inadequacy of classrooms at the school, an abandoned girl's dormitory and the school's canteen have all been converted to classrooms for students.
The Headmaster relayed this to Sompa News at the school's 48th annual speech and prize given day celebration, earmarked on the theme: "Discipline And Academic Achievement, The Role Of Stakeholders."
Paramount Chief of the Agona Nsaba Traditional Area, Nana Okeseku Afari Mintah III, entreated students to embrace discipline, as that is the tool to take them far.
He again urged students not to allow themselves to be used by politicians, since it's just four (4) months to the country's general election, as politicians usually resort to ignorant persons like themselves to perpetrate things which are uncalled-for during such seasons.
Nana Okeseku Afari Mintah III observed that should any student eligible to vote, allow him or herself to be used by any politician to offend the law, will turn to face the law squarely and not the politician. Hence, the need to stay careful.
