The Capital Rural Bank Limited says it has made 37.93 per cent increase in its total assets in the year 2023, a remarkable improvement compared to the 2022 operational year.
This was announced on Saturday at Abesim in the Sunyani Municipality on Saturday, at the 19th Annual General Meeting as part of commemoration of the Bank's 20 years of existence in the Bono region.
Giving the financial report, Madam Patricia Peprah-Agyemang, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Capital Group of Companies, also the Board Chair of the Bank explained the total assets of the Bank was GH¢ 32,391,392.00 in 2022.
But, it amounted to GH¢44,675,646.00 in the year 2023, representing higher increase of 37.93 per cent.
The financial institution, despite all the setbacks such as high inflation and exchange rates that affected the operations of the Banks was making significant improvements, she emphasized.
She said the total deposits in 2023 amounted to GH¢37,201,598.00, indicating indicating an increase of 31.81 per cent, compared to the GH¢28,224,631.00 in 2022.
Madam Peprah-Agyemang added the Bank's total Credits in 2023 amounted to GH¢17,312,435.00 as against GH¢14,231,568.00 in 2022, reflecting an increase of 21.65 per cent.
