35-year-old Yaw Francis has been arrested by the Kasoa Police upon attempt to steal a flag hoister pole at the Kasoa Immigration Office in the Awutu Senya East District in the Central Region.

Information gathered by Sompa News Eric Annan has it that the suspect had come at midnight to steal from the Immigration Office whilst officers in charge were in their office carrying out midnight duties.

Sources reveal that Immigration Officers on duty then, saw the suspect carry the flag hoister pole and in an attempt to bolt with it, where they hurriedly mounted a chase on him and arrested him.

Investigations by the Kasoa Central Sector Commander of the Ghana Immigration Service, ACI Fati Yarah uncovers that several items are been stolen by unknown persons at the office.

Also stores and shops around have also complained in countless of their air conditions and other items been stolen at odd hours.

The suspect is currently in custody at the Kasoa Under Bridge Police Station, assisting in investigations.
