The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll has in a symbolic honouring, paid a visit to the COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited, a leading research and pharmaceutical company and producers of COA FS and COA Mixture at Wusorkrom in the Central Region of Ghana.
Otumfuo's memorable tour at the COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited follows his historic visit to the 2024 Oguaa Fetu Afahye.
The Asantehene upon his visit to the manufacturing company, congratulated Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan, the Chief Executive Officer of COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited and President of the Global Peace Mission for the explicit work he has been doing in the country and recommended the COA products to everyone in the country.
Otumfour Osei Tutu II who spent over an hour touring the factory, implored Ghanaians to be proud to have Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan and his COA products in the country.
He, however, beseeched government to patronise COA products to help sell the name of Ghana globally in terms of good healthcare delivery.
Otumfuo's Kyeame Panyin, Baffour Osei Kwame Kantakrakyi who engaged the media in an interview, highlighted that the motive behind Otumfuo's visit to the company is to see for himself how things are been administered at the place in other to see how best he can help the COA Manufacturing Company Limited.
He noted that prior to Otumfuo's visit to the factory, he had already given Prof. Ato Duncan a land in Kumasi to establish a branch of the company in the Ashanti Region to help boost healthcare delivery in the country.
Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan who welcomed Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll and his team to his factory, assured to do more in the production of herbal medicines to enhance the country's healthcare and to put Ghana on the global stage.
He observed that proper measures have been put in place to make sure all his manufactured drugs meet international standard to have COA products accepted on the global market.
The COA CEO further opined that his outfit is on a research into its products which he relayed optimism that upon completion, his company alone will be fit enough to fetch Ghana's economy with over $30billion every year.
