The Odikrow of Abura-Obokor and Kyidomhene of the Abora Traditional Council in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese District in the Central Region, Nana Amprofi IX has marked his 5th anniversary as king with a donation of 10 computers to Obokor SDA Basic School.

This gesture underscore the king's commitment to education which cornerstones his vision for the community.

Upon his enstoolment five (5) years ago, Nana Amprofi IX identified quality education and healthcare as his top priorities, having envisioned a vibrant community with accessible learning opportunities and quality medical care.

True to his words, the king has delivered on his promise with the donation of computers and a printer to the Obokor SDA Basic School to demonstrate his unwavering dedication in enhancing teaching and learning experience at the area.

Nana Amprofi, seized the opportunity to appeal for support and unity especially from politicians, traditional leaders, and esteemed individuals in building a community-based health center and emphasized the importance of quality healthcare for every community and individual.

Joseph Asah Patrick, Headmaster for Obokor SDA Basic School upon receiving the donated items, expressed his profound gratitude to Nana Amprofi and promised to utilize the resources effectively for STEM education. 

Notably, the school boast of the Best BECE Student in the Central Region for 2023, Nana Kwesi Arthur.

However, the school lacks adequate infrastructure of which the headmaster appealed for public support and government recognition for teacher's hard work.
