The Ashanti Regional Manager of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Mr. Amos Abakah, has appealed to Ghanaians to exercise patience when registering their vehicles at the authority's office in Kumasi. According to Mr. Abakah, the DVLA is currently facing network challenges, which is causing congestion at their office.
Despite these challenges, the DVLA is working hard to serve all Ghanaians efficiently and effectively. Mr. Abakah assured the public that his outfit is doing everything possible to address the technical issues and ensure that the registration process runs smoothly.
He explained that the network challenges are affecting the authority's ability to process registrations quickly, leading to long queues and delays. However, he gave the assurance that the DVLA is committed to providing excellent service to the public, despite the challenges.
Mr. Abakah urged the public to bear with the authority as they work to resolve the technical issues. He also advised the public to avoid rushing to the office, but rather to visit the DVLA website to check the status of their registration before visiting the office.
The Regional Manager of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) again emphasized the need for owners of unregistered vehicles to register their vehicles as soon as possible. In an interview with Sompa FM's Bawah Baidoo, Mr. Abakah stressed the importance of registration, citing the risks associated with driving unregistered vehicles.
Meanwhile, some motorcycle riders who had been waiting at the DVLA office expressed their frustration to Bawah Baidoo about the delay in receiving their registrations. The riders had been waiting for hours and days, but had yet to receive their registration documents.
