Mr Kwame Adofo, a legal practitioner has described "Operation Recover All Loots" initiative as illegal, affront to the 1992 constitution.

President Mahama launched the ORAL aimed at helping to reclaim misappropriated public funds and state properties in the government efforts to stem the growing trend of corruption in the country.

Since the appointment of the ORAL team, the initiative has received huge public applause from the civil society community and actors in the country, who described the initiative as a landmark decision and realistic intervention in the fight against corruption.

However, speaking on the Sompa FM Ade Akye Abia morning show, said the ORAL remained illegal until the initiative was backed with the required constitutional support, saying the team members could also not perform their task until they were approved by parliament.
